PM SHRI JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA, KONARK, PURI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya - A chain of schools under a common platform - NAVODAYA VIDYALA SAMITI, An Autonomous organisation under the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It is the brainchild of the then Prime minister Mr Rajiv Gandhi with the objective to nurture the talent from the rural and poor sections. Today there is a navodaya Vidyalaya in almost every district of India. JNV Puri is one of them. It is situated at Konark and spans over an area of 31 acres.
